My new stoven is here and installed, ya'll! I am so excited to be back to baking again. I find it so therapeutic to be in the kitchen baking up yummies for my dogs. And, frankly, there are only so many human meals you can make with a microwave and a toaster oven so me and my hubby are both happy to have the stoven back in its rightful place!

So since things have been a bit slow around here I thought that I would give you a quick, easy recipe for some yummy treats you can make for your doggies. I picked up some good looking sweet potatoes this weekend and instead of pureeing them for baked treats I decided to see what else I could do with them. I ended up making some sweet potato treats in the oven that our dogs just can't get enough of - so I just gotta share this easy recipe! And, the best part is that we humans can enjoy them, too!

3. Arrange slices of oiled sweet potato on a shallow jelly roll or cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle with sea salt.

5. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely. I used a wire rack to elevate mine to cool quicker. As you can see, some of my thinner slices burned a bit, but again, my dogs didn't mind that at all.
